Oil, Charcoal on Hahnemuhle Paper

Bessbrook Army Barracks or Bessbrook Mill as it was locally known, was once reported to be one of the most busiest heliports in Europe and it was established to supply the other military outposts in the area. Here I look at the many shapes and linear contortions of the vast barracks by covering up and scraping back the paint with rollers and sharp ended tools.

Each piece is hand painted in oils on Hahnemuhle oil paper (unless otherwise stated) and signed on the back by the artist. I have included an interior wall design pic and although is not to scale (slightly larger than the original) it will give you an idea!
